Data Transparency and Disclaimers

Owlue is committed to full transparency regarding our performance metrics and claims. The following disclaimers provide context for the data presented on our website:

Estimated Average Annual Savings

The $2,000 estimated average annual savings reflects our internal calculations of successful appeal savings across the specific states and counties where Owlue is currently operational. Actual savings realized by any individual homeowner will vary based on their property's unique assessed value and local real estate market dynamics.

Homeowners Overpaying Estimate

The statement that 35% of homeowners are overpaying is a conservative projection derived from national averages and independent analyses of property tax fairness, detailed in reports such as the Realtor.com study on tax protests (see: Realtor.com Article).

Estimated Success Rate

The 92% estimated success rate is a projection based on the analytical power and proprietary models of Owlue's AI platform, which pre-qualifies appeals for maximum effectiveness before submission. This projection is not a guarantee of future outcomes or success for any specific individual appeal.

Submission Time

The '3-minute time to submit' represents the average duration measured during internal testing for a typical single-family residential property appeal using our optimized digital platform.

Ease of Use Claims

The terms 'Easy' and 'Hassle-free' are used in direct comparison to the time, complexity, and extensive paperwork required by traditional, manual property tax appeal processes.

Risk-Free Guarantee

Our 'No Risk' or 'Risk Free' guarantee refers specifically to two assurances: the financial risk of paying Owlue fees for an appeal that does not create savings, and the risk of financial penalties for improper filing within the specific states and counties where Owlue operates.

Appeals and Hearings

Owlue manages the complete appeals submission process on your behalf. However, in some cases, the county may determine that a formal hearing is required. If a hearing is requested, Owlue will reassess the viability of the appeal case and reserves the right to attend or waive the hearing attendance based on this evaluation. Should Owlue determine that hearing attendance is the appropriate next step, an Owlue-appointed representative will attend the hearing on your behalf. If Owlue waives the hearing attendance, you will be notified of this decision.

Referral Program

For every person you refer who submits an appeal with Owlue, both you and they will receive $25 off your respective appeal fees. These referral credits are applied to your current or future Owlue appeal fees and are visible in your Owlue account. Please note that referral credits cannot be redeemed for a cash equivalent and have no cash value outside of Owlue's services.

Accessibility

At Owlue, we believe that property tax savings should be truly accessible to every homeowner. Regardless of ability, background, or technical expertise, everyone deserves the opportunity to ensure they're not overpaying on their property taxes. We are committed to ensuring our website and services are accessible to all users, including those with disabilities.

We are constantly working to improve the accessibility of our platform by following best practices and web accessibility standards. Our team regularly reviews and updates our site to enhance usability for everyone. If you encounter any accessibility barriers or have suggestions for improvement, we encourage you to reach out to us—your feedback helps us create a better experience for all.
